From September to October, the musical “The Three Musketeers” will be performed in Tokyo, Hiroshima, and Osaka.

This production, which has turned Alexandre Duma’s masterpiece “The Three Musketeers” into a musical, was first produced in the Czech Republic in 2004 and has been staged repeatedly since its revised performance in South Korea in 2009.
For this upcoming performance, directed by Phillip McKinley, known for works like “The Boy From Oz,” the Japanese version of “Mozart, l’opéra rock,” and “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark,” Masayuki Sakamoto will play the role of the leader of the Musketeers, Athos, and Seiya Suezawa from Ae! group will take on the role of the young man, D’Artagnan, who dreams of becoming a Musketeer.
McKinley commented, “To deliver my vision of ‘The Three Musketeers,’ Japan always shows respect for creative passion and collaboration, providing an ideal environment. Please enjoy this adventure story!“
SEIYA SUEZAWA COMMENT

“I’m Seiya Suezawa from Ae! group.
I’m thrilled and honored to be working with director Phillip again, who took care of me during “THE BOY FROM OZ,” from rehearsals to the final performance.
I’m also excited to be working with Sakamoto-kun again and can’t wait to create this production together!
I’ve seen the movie “The Three Musketeers” before and was impressed by its storyline and action, so I’m looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds in the musical with its direction.
I’m eager to show everyone how the pure-hearted and justice-driven D’Artagnan meets the Musketeers and grows, as well as the sweet and sour romance with Constance, the bond with Athos, and all the different sides of D’Artagnan, and I hope you all enjoy watching it.
I’ll be waiting for you at the theater.”
The performances will take place from September 8th to 28th at the Nissay Theatre in Tokyo, from October 4th to 6th at the Hiroshima Bunka Gakuen HBG Hall in Hiroshima, and from October 18th to 27th at the Sky Theater MBS in Osaka.
Stay seated for further announcements regarding ticket sales and details.
