Ae! group is stepping into a new chapter—one that feels as unpredictable, energetic, and heartfelt as the group itself.

The four-member group has announced the release of their fourth single, “DEKOBOKO LIFE,” arriving June 17. The track serves as the theme song for their first starring film, Osomatsu-san: Humanity Degeneration Project!!!!!? (おそ松さん 人類クズ化計画!!!!!?), set to premiere on June 12. It’s a milestone moment that bridges two worlds: the stage they’ve grown on and the screen they’re now stepping into together.

Built on Aぇ! group’s signature band sound, “DEKOBOKO LIFE” embraces a sense of joyful imperfection. Its lyrics carry an unmistakable optimism—phrases like “Take the long way around, that’s alright,” and “This is enough” echo throughout the track, offering quiet reassurance wrapped in high-energy delivery. It’s the kind of song that doesn’t ask listeners to have everything figured out—it simply asks them to keep going.

“DEKOBOKO LIFE” will be released in five editions: Limited Editions A, B, and C, a standard edition, and a special Osomatsu-san edition featuring an original illustrated anime jacket. Each version offers a slightly different lens into the release, expanding its world through exclusive tracks and visual content.

Across all editions, the title track anchors the single alongside a shared, currently untitled B-side. From there, each version branches into its own character: Limited Edition A includes “Rain Sick,” while Limited Edition B features “Summer Drama,” and Limited Edition C offers “GET THE FIRE.” The standard edition adds “Sweetness,” giving listeners yet another tonal layer to explore, while the Osomatsu-san edition keeps the focus tight with the core two tracks.

Visually, the release is just as dynamic. Limited Edition A includes the “DEKOBOKO LIFE” music video and its making-of footage, offering a closer look at the energy behind the song. Limited Edition B shifts the spotlight to the additional track with its own music video and behind-the-scenes content, while Limited Edition C leans into concept-building with bonus footage and a photoshoot making film. Meanwhile, the group is currently in the midst of their nationwide arena tour, Ae! group LIVE TOUR 2026 Runway, spanning 30 performances across eight cities.
